New Mozart Piano Works Discovered

Two Mozart piano works were recently discovered by the International Mozarteum Foundation in Salzburg, Austria.  The pieces were in the foundation’s possession for quite some time, but were only discovered and verified recently.

In a short announcement last Thursday, the foundation said it would give more details in a press release on August 2nd.  Also on August 2nd, Austrian pianist Florian Birsak will be performing the pieces on a piano known to have been played by Mozart himself.
