Schumann's "Ahnung" will be premiered on September 20th.

Robert Schumann’s newly discovered piano work, Ahnung, will receive its public debut performance next month as pianist Luiza Borac takes the stage in Uberlingen, Germany.  Ahnung, translated “Intuition,” is short, consisting only of 24 measures.  The piece was initially discovered in 2006 in the Leopold Sophie History Library in Überlingen, Germany. The discovery was made public only in recent months after the musical authorities at Répertoire International des Sources Musical (RISM)  had studied the manuscript and verified its historical integrity.
